Visual Deterrence For Vulnerable Windows

Windows - especially ground floor ones - are great favourites for intruders. In summer heat it's nice to leave windows open for cooling breezes, and even in winter a window is often only secured by a simple hardware store lock. That's better than nothing, but a long way from the best.

For family security, at Shutters, Grilles and Gates, we recommend folding security gates, installed behind or in front of vulnerable glass. Made of high tensile steel, they can be opened and closed easily. When closed they let you open the window for fresh air, without opening it for burglars.

Coloured to match your décor, when combined with curtains or blinds they become almost invisible to you, but provide very definite deterrence to potential intruders.
